In the fall of 2021, Medicate OH launched a series of virtual chat discussions on the Clubhouse app. Our Fall/winter 2022 MedicateOH Clubhouse Chats will continue this educational series for the community.

The Clubhouse app offers a platform for uninterrupted cannabis discussions—rare to find on social media. These chats allowed the editorial staff at Medicate OH to explore new opportunities to educate and inspire cannabis patients and enthusiasts.

First Session Premieres Thursday, September 1st

Clubhouse Chats will be back in the Fall, beginning Thursday, 9/1, from 8:30-9:30p. Our first week will feature pharmacists Rony Sinharoy and Lauren Delande from My Medicine LLC and Klutch Cannabis as our first guests to talk about Cannabis Medicinal Effects.

In partnership with Bonnie Rabin, adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati who teaches the Introduction to Hemp and Medical Cannabis course, Medicate OH hosts diverse conversations on the cannabis and hemp industries with an audience of more than three-dozen UC students. During these conversations, guest speakers including founders of local cannabis companies, professionals, advocates and others share their expertise and experiences.

Students will have chances to interact with, question, and glean valuable knowledge from industry experts and other Clubhouse members across the world. Participants may also find this app to be useful for making contacts in the growing cannabis industry, as this article points out. Sessions are recorded and playback is available shortly after the session ends.

Additional Upcoming Events

As an important resource to both students and the cannabis community, MedicateOH offers several events throughout the year in Ohio to help connect cannabis users with the makers of their medicine. In September 2022, MedicateOH will offer two events, one in southwest Ohio and one in northeast Ohio.

MedicateOH’s Herbs and Arts Fair will take place Saturday, September 17th at Ohio CBD Guy in Olde Montgomery, a neighborhood of Cincinnati. And our northern Ohio event, the Crooked River Canna-U-Cook Chil Cookoff, will be happening on Sunday, September 25th at the Amphitheater Pavilion in Cuyahoga Falls. Vendor spots are now on sale for both events. Email medicateOH@gmail.com to apply.

MedicateOH operates as a fiscally-sponsored project of Community Shares of Mid Ohio, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Our project exists to support the Ohio cannabis community with education, events, and advocacy.
