Medical Marijuana patients in the Cincinnati area may now pick up their medicine at a convenient new dispensary The Forest with the area’s first drive-thru window. The new building at 4412 Mt. Carmel Tobasco Rd. in Clermont County is The Forest’s third Ohio store and it opens September 1st. The Forest Cincinnati is conveniently located TWO minutes from Route 32 & FIVE minutes from I-275.
Building the Team at The Forest Cincinnati
Priya Kurtz, Marketing Lead for The Forest and parent company Standard Wellness reported that building the team at The Forest Cincinnati has been a seamless process. “We have a great team of budtenders. Some have come from different dispensaries around Ohio, some who are brand new to the cannabis industry.”
General Manager Travis Beser brings a wealth of experience from previous jobs working for Zen Leaf and Pharmacann (Verilife). He’s soaked up a lot of knowledge in the four years since the program began. He’s focused on providing top-notch customer service and the feeling of home at The Forest. “I don’t want people coming in to see a budtender. I want people to come in and see their budtender, and there’s a huge difference in that,” says Travis.
New Patients Welcome
New patients to The Forest shouldn’t feel intimidated, Travis says. “By the time you leave here your first time, you’ll have a very good understanding of what product you’re getting, the amounts to take, the reasons you’re taking it and what you can expect to feel.”
Standard Wellness Director of Retail Mac Amin notes that Cincinnati hasn’t yet built enough new dispensaries to serve area patients well. “Our main focus is patient-centered. It always has been. It’s the Standard Wellness way. It’s The Forest way. It’s what we do in Sandusky. It’s what we do in Springfield, and we can’t wait to take what we’ve experienced in those two locations and bring it here to Cincinnati. Cincinnati is an area that has been severely lacking in the amount of dispensaries. And so by bringing the force here to Cincinnati, we’re ensuring the patients the best care that Ohio has to offer.”

The Forest’s three dispensaries feature Standard Wellness’s cultivated cannabis flower, produced at their facility in Gibsonburg, Ohio. Patients may be familiar with their brands, Airgraft, The Standard, Black Sheep, and The Solid.

Kurtz says The Forest Cincinnati will kick off the Grand Opening with some great savings for patients. “During the first week of operation, The Forest Cincinnati will offer 30 percent off all Standard Wellness products and 20 to 25 percent off select brands from our partners. We always have indigent, industry, and veteran discounts at 20% and that never changes.”
Additional incentives and promotions to look out for: For “early birds” who get to the dispensary in the first hour and patients who arrive in the last hour before closing for “happy hour”, they will get 15 percent off.
Drive Thru
Patients in Cincinnati may utilize the convenient drive-thru window when coming to pick up their cannabis medicine at The Forest. Once you fill out your pre-patient paper work you will be able to utilize our drive thru. Already a Forest customer? There is no need to fill out pre-patient paper work.
