Former sexual health and wellness consultant turned cannabis writer puts the “Oh!” in Ohio as she recommends some products you can find locally to spice up your Valentine’s Day. Here’s what Andie says is HOT right now:

Andie’s Background

Before I worked in the cannabis industry, I was a sexual health and wellness consultant for one of the largest adult stores and brands in the U.S. During my 5 years in the adult industry, my expertise was focused on products that were botanically-derived, including those that contained hemp oil and CBD. I also learned about various THC products from my clients who traveled to states where adult-use is legal. I often recommended cannabis products to those who were looking for intimacy-related pain relief, decreased menstrual pain, increased stimulation, and relaxation.

I am delighted about the increase in cannabis sexual health and wellness products. However, incorporating these into an intimacy routine can be daunting for some. Here you will find a few of my recommendations for products that are great for beginners, as well as more experienced enthusiasts. Disclaimer: I have not personally tried all of these products. The ones I have not tried are either from reputable brands or I have been given favorable reviews from previous clients.

Lubricant

Massage

Earthly Body 3-in-1 Hemp Massage Candle

Massage candles are a spicy upgrade from massage oil if you are looking to elevate the sensual aspect of intimacy. This candle is commonly sold in both CBD stores and adult stores.

Bonus: get Group Sounds’ chocolate truffles to eat in the bath for an even more luxurious experience.

  • Unisex
  • 750mg full-spectrum CBD per jar
  • Limited ingredient list
  • Minority, female, and Ohio native owned and operated
Check out our MedicateOH feature on GroupSounds edibles which can be found in select Ohio dispensaries and CBD stores.

Where to Buy

Find cannabis intimacy products at your local CBD shop, intimacy product retailer or health store. Most Ohio medical marijuana dispensaries don’t carry intimacy-specific products since they don’t fall under Ohio’s qualifying conditions. Some dispensary products are great for intimacy; just ask your budtender and you’ll likely get some good suggestions.
