Getting into the holiday spirit can include your cannabis medicine. MedicateOH writer Marissa tried out a Rythm cartridge called “Witches Elixir” and connected with Amber Miller of Green Thumb Industries to learn more about this unusual Halloween treat:

If you are looking for a fun and fast vape for your trick or treat bag, Rythm has that cartridge for you!

What Piqued My Interest about Witches Elixir

Witches Elixir drew me in for the name alone. I am all about a fun holiday promo. Especially if it falls in line with items I already love and am looking for. I think we can all shamelessly attest to purchasing things for aesthetic alone.

These flavorful and potent cartridges are from Rythm’s 5.10 thread line. Over the past few months, Green Thumb Industries has released new disposable cartridges and flower for their “Rythm” line. As a patient, I love trying new products from lines that I’ve followed and appreciate when new products that we asked for arrive.

Purchased Witches Elixir at Rise Lakewood

I got the opportunity to snag one of these Elixirs at Rise in Lakewood, the Detroit Ave. location. Not only was it discounted, but Rise gave me a free 5.10 twist vaporizer with purchase.

Witches Elixir is a hybrid with a THC percentage of 75.20%. The most robust terpenes in this profile are myrcene, limonene and beta-caryophllene, with a pinch of humulene. Other cannabinoids that are present are THCV and CBD.

Witches Elixir: 5 out of 5 Brooms for Effectiveness 🧹🧹🧹🧹🧹

For flavor I would rate this 4 out of 5 brooms. I appreciate herb-y vapes with light limonene. Sometimes limonene for me can take over the pallet, this one did not!

When picking hybrids, I do like to lean more indica-dominant. The anxiety I personally experience when vaping sativas sometimes just is not worth the worry. However, this hybrid gets 5 out of 5 brooms from me for effectiveness. This worked exactly when I needed it to, did not leave me feeling jittery, and I did not once think “Woah, I should slow down”.

Speaking with Green Thumb Industries about Witches Elixir

I got to chat with Amber Miller, the field marketing manager for Green Thumb Industries (GTI), which manufactures and distributes the Rythm cartridges to dispensaries across Ohio. Here is what she had to share with patients about this spellbinding vape:

“You never know what will end up coming out of the GTI cauldron, but we brewed up a small batch of Witches Elixir for a spooky seasonal favorite. The special Hybrid blend of GMO ZSkittles x Berry Kush was available to our Rise locations only in the month of October. These strains gave us a terpene profile of Myrcene, Limonene, Caryophyllene, Humulene and a dash of Bisabolol for this potion in .5g form. A nice relaxing way to experience one of our many GTI products. We are excited to see what else Rythm can package up for our next holiday special.”

This Halloween, you can fly over to your closest Rise dispensary and pick up Witches Elixir, a Rhythm cartridge before they disappear!

These reviews are only a reflection of one patient’s experience and are not meant as guidance to treat any condition.
Many new medical marijuana patients are encouraged to try new strains, forms, and varieties of marijuana to judge their effects until they find a consistent product that manages their condition reliably. This can be a frustrating and expensive process. We provide these reviews to help patients make decisions. We urge everyone to only use cannabis products in accordance with your medical marijuana doctor’s recommendation.
