The city of Middletown, Ohio will open the first-ever state licensed dispensary, marking a major milestone for both the city and the state’s industry. Located at 3616 Dixie Highway, Terrasana will serve local residents as well as nearby communities throughout Southwest Ohio, from Dayton to Cincinnati.

This “highly” anticipated launch will be Terrasana’s fifth dispensary in Ohio, further solidifying the brand’s reputation as one of the state’s most trusted names in cannabis retail. With both adult-use (recreational) and medical cannabis now legal in Ohio, Terrasana’s operators aim to significantly improve access to safe, high-quality products for both new and experienced consumers.

Conveniently Located for Maximum Accessibility

Strategically positioned just minutes from Interstate 75, Terrasana Middletown is ideally located in a busy retail corridor, making it easily accessible for neighboring towns like Monroe, Franklin, and West Chester. Whether you’re a curious first-time visitor or a seasoned medical cannabis patient, the new location is designed with ease and convenience in mind.

Chad Wise, Owner of Terrasana says they are excited to join the Middletown community and expand safe, legal access to cannabis consumers in Southwest Ohio.“At Terrasana, we are more than just a place to buy cannabis. We are an integral part of the communities we serve,” Wise said.

A Dispensary Built on its Commitment to Education

Wise feels that Terrasana’s commitment to education, compassionate service, and community engagement are what sets it apart in a rapidly growing market. The Middletown dispensary will offer a curated selection of Ohio-grown cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, tinctures, and topicals—all regulated and lab-tested to meet Ohio’s strict quality standards.

Shoppers can expect a bright, modern retail space staffed with knowledgeable, locally trained team members. The staff will be ready to guide customers through product selection, dosage, and legal requirements, helping them feel informed and confident during their visit.

“Our tagline, ‘Locally Rooted,’ reflects more than just our origins,” Wise added. “It’s a statement that embodies our deep connection to Ohio since 2019, our customers, and the culture that makes each of our locations unique. We’re incredibly proud to open our fifth location in Ohio.”

Driving Economic Growth in Middletown

Beyond improving access to regulated cannabis, Terrasana’s newest dispensary will also make a positive economic impact. The opening will create local job opportunities, supporting the area’s workforce and offering long-term career paths in one of Ohio’s fastest-growing industries.

As part of its commitment to being a responsible community partner, Terrasana plans to hire from within the region and invest in local talent. From patient care advisors to retail management roles, the dispensary aims to build a team that understands the needs and values of the Middletown community.
