Headquartered in Arizona, Story Cannabis has dispensaries in four states, and is rapidly expanding their Ohio footprint. The chain recently closed the smaller of their two Cincinnati stores (3944 Edwards Rd) which are located at the edge of Norwood and Oakley. McFall tells us that this move was made to transfer their license to the location in Forest Park. The larger Edwards Rd. store (3950 Edwards Rd) will remain open to serve central Cincinnati customers.

As McFall noted, “Everyone always refers to it as the old Steak ‘n Shake.” Tucked just off the I-275 expressway in front of cultivator King City Gardens, the dispensary offers easy access for locals and visitors alike.
“It’s a great location,” McFall shared. “We’re right off the expressway, making it convenient for people in the area. Plus, we have plenty of parking, so there’s no bottlenecking when customers come in.”
For McFall, a local herself, the opening is particularly meaningful. “I’ve been in the cannabis industry for almost four years, and to finally have something local is really exciting. It’s a great feeling to serve the community I grew up in.”

“When you come in, you’ll see a large lobby with a TV screen displaying our menu,” McFall said. “We have a reception desk where we check IDs, and then customers can head to the back, where we have a spacious showroom with three lines: online orders, walk-ins, and medical patients.”
Medical patients are prioritized, ensuring they receive the care and attention they need. “We have a patient-facing menu, and our budtenders are trained to provide in-depth guidance,” McFall added.
