Community Cleanup in Seven Hills

In an industry often focused on products, policy, and rapid growth, a group of Ohio cannabis companies and industry partners recently took time to focus on something even more foundational—community.

In honor of Earth Day, representatives from ROAM, Ascension, Standard Farms, Ohio Green Systems, The Botanist, and local industry collaborators came together in Seven Hills for a neighborhood cleanup effort aimed at beautifying the area and giving back to the community that supports Ohio’s cannabis industry.

Armed with gloves, trash bags, and a shared sense of purpose, the group spent the afternoon collecting litter, cleaning public spaces, and connecting with neighbors along the way. Roughly ten volunteers participated in the effort, donating their time and energy to leave the neighborhood better than they found it.

The event wasn’t about marketing—it was about action.

What made the cleanup especially meaningful was the collaboration behind it. In a fast-growing industry where brands often compete for attention, this initiative demonstrated something bigger: a shared investment and understanding of community, partnership, and local stewardship.

At its core, the event served as a reminder that meaningful change doesn’t always happen through large campaigns or big headlines. Sometimes, it starts with people simply showing up…with trash bags in hand, and doing the work.

Because community care is always worth investing in, even after Earth Day has passed.
