MedicateOH astrology expert Alex Pearson expects heavy new energies as we head into this month. Could it be the right time to explore new terpenes, cannabinoids, and products to help you medicate more mindfully through this intense time? Here’s what Alex says:

March’s Intense Horoscope
As I mentioned in last month’s canna-scope, March has an intense horoscope. A combination of once-in-a-lifetime transits and still, no retrograde planets, means progress feels really possible.
FULL MOON IN VIRGO
Things kick off with a heavy burst of energy on March 7th when Saturn moves into Pisces and the Moon moves into its Fullest phase in the sign of Virgo (Pisces’s partner sign). This Full Moon in Virgo marks the completion of the lunar cycle which started February 20 with a Pisces New Moon. When the Moon travels through Virgo’s domain, expect a need to share, nurture, and repair hurt feelings belonging to you or someone around you.
Despite being an Earth Sign, Mercury rules Virgo’s Mutable Modality. A sense of grounding can come through conversation. A Full Moon marks a time of release, so something may need to be said or heard. Saturn’s co-presence to the Sun in this lunation is a bit of a vibe killer.
With that in mind, uplifting Sativa-dominant medicine like KIVA’s Camino Pineapple Habanero Gummies can help perk you right up. For those with a higher tolerance, Hundred Percent Labs’ Rom Widow Crumble contains key terpenes for an elevated mood like β-Pinene, δ-Limonene, trans-B-Farnesene, and β-Caryophyllene.

SATURN MOVES INTO PISCES
For the last three years, Saturn has transited through the sign of Aquarius. Astrologically, Saturn represents reality, fears, boundaries, restrictions, and insecurities – collectively and individually. You can see why I say it’s a bit of a vibe killer. But now, it moves forward towards the Mutable Water constellation of Pisces. Contrary to Saturn’s archetypes, Pisces and its ruling planet Neptune dissolves boundaries, restrictions, and confinements.
In the spirit of Pisces, you might go beyond your typical routine when it comes to medicating this month. Experimenting with new cannabinoids and terpenes falls right in line with the Piscean vibe. Some not-so-common terpenes to look for are Terpinolene, Camphene, and Fenchol. You might also try working with medicine rich in cannabinoids like THCV, CBG and CBN rather than THC alone.
Terp-rich medicines like Certified Cultivators Northern Lights Distillate Cartridge, and One Orijin’s Grape Krush ONEderful Cartridge, are great places to start exploring. Riviera Creek’s Avanti strain is an Indica blend of Lemon Larry OG X OG Kush X Girl Scout Cookies X Chemdawg hybrid. It contains both CBG and CBN – great for a restful night’s sleep. Vapen’s 220mg THC/110mg CBN Blackberry gummies are another CBN-heavy edible product you might consider.

PLUTO MOVES INTO AQUARIUS
Now, this month, Saturn doesn’t get all the attention. Slow-moving Pluto is front-and-center with its first ingress into the sign of Aquarius since 1798. This revolutionary movement is short-lived, as Pluto will Retrograde back and forth on the Anaretic Degree of Capricorn and zero degrees of Aquarius until the end of 2024. Pluto will transit through Aquarius for the next 20 years.
Pluto makes this first move into Aquarius on March 23rd, just two days after an Aries New Moon on the 21st. During this time, a pileup in Aries (known as a Stellium) featuring not only the Sun and Moon but also Jupiter and Mercury, means the Cardinal Fire Energy will be dominant. In fact, Mutable and Cardinal modalities are the most concentrated this month.
Since planets in Aquarius typically form a Sextile aspect to those in Aries, Pluto’s significant shift re-enters the chat. Sextiles are known as motivational opportunities in astrology, and Aries love to move fast. Jupiter tends to “expand” upon all that it touches, so be mindful of where you invest your energy this month. If you’re in the spirit to give back to your community, consider one of the many causes March marks the awareness, celebration, and signification of.
