This November, we’ve got a lot to be nervous about. Alex’s astrology forecast can help ease the tension, and if that doesn’t help, maybe some of her most trusty Ohio canna-product recommendations will do the trick. Here’s what’s in the stars as we turn the calendar page:

NOVEMBER: A CHANGING OF THE GUARDS
November has arrived, and with it, a changing of the guards in more ways than one. Personal and outer planets make a shift, and Retrogrades begin, end and continue this month.
NEW MOON IN SCORPIO, FULL MOON IN TAURUS
Similarly to last month, the first transit of the month is a New Moon. This New Moon takes place in Scorpio on Nov. 1. When the Moon is in Scorpio, our emotions can become intense or even overwhelming. Scorpio has a depth to it, as all water signs do, which drives introspection and investigation. New Moons are ripe time for manifesting and creation, so put your powers to work. Some consider this time of the year to be one when the veil is quite thin — so do be prepared to psychically attune to those around you.
Mid-month, a Full Moon in Taurus rounds out the Fixed Energy lunations on Nov. 15. Full Moons imbue a sense of release and clearing. This Full Moon is at 24°, just one degree off from an exact Conjunction with Uranus at 25° — expect the unexpected. It’s very likely you, or someone close to you, will be moody or impulsive. This is a short-lived transit, but it may stick out if you have personal planets at or near 24° of a Fixed Sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), Earth Sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) or Water Sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces).
Overstimulation could be an ailment needing remedied during these lunations, so you might reach for a hefty dose of CBD and soothing terpenes. WYLD has a 20:1 CBD:THC gummy that’s tasty and effective. Those needing a higher dose of pain relief may benefit from Mainstreet Health’s 1:1 CBD:THC capsules.

PERSONAL PLANETS MAKE PROGRESS
The second transit of the month is marked by Mercury’s ingression into Sagittarius. Although Sagittarius is exploratory, it’s considered in its “detriment” in the sign of Sagittarius. This is due to the fact that Mercury’s ruler Gemini is opposite to Sagittarius. Mercury’s other ruler, Virgo, squares (or is at 90° apart from) Sagittarius amplifying the tension.
Nevertheless, Mercury (and all other planets) will transit through all zodiac signs, even those they’re not inherently joyful in. In the sign of Sagittarius, Mercury takes on an adventurous spirit. This is a great time to dive into a new area of study, or simply read a good book. Expanded perspectives, thinking and planning could be possible during this transit. But don’t get too enthralled in making progress, as Mercury Stations Retrograde on Nov. 25.

MARS MOVES INTO LEO
Mars, the planet of action and embodiment, moves into Leo on Nov. 3. Ruled by another Fire Sign, Mars is pretty cozy in the sign of Fixed Fire. This is a time to take action, and a good guide for where to do so is by finding which House in your birth chart that Leo rules. Tempers could run hot, and this ingression aligns with an Opposition to Pluto. Transformation and war can both be indicated by these planets, and certainly when they face off in an aspect like this. Recognize your personal power and embody your authentic self as a remedy to becoming disillusioned by any chaos you encounter.
The planet of love, values and partnership moves into the sign of Capricorn on Nov. 11. Venus in Capricorn is an invitation to prioritize pleasures, and develop inherent skills beyond their current status. This may also be a time that relationships feel more transactional, which is not necessarily a bad thing if it’s a mutually beneficial experience.
Last of the personal planets making a move this month, the Sun ingresses into the sign of Sagittarius on Nov. 21. Much like the Mars in Leo, the Sun is not terribly uncomfortable in the sign of Sagittarius.
Amidst all these ingressions, don’t lose your focus. Products rich in energizing terpenes and pain-relieving cannabinoids are your friends. A budget-friendly go-to of mine, Seed and Strain’s Papa Don and Super Lavender Butter (my personal favorite) flower has a combination of Limonene, Alpha-Pinene and Humulene for a well-rounded experience.

STATION DIRECT HERE, STATION RETROGRADE THERE
This month, there’s a continuation of Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune’s Retrogrades. But on Nov. 15, Saturn Stations Direct ending a Retrograde that began June 29. Saturn in Pisces begins to progress once again at the 12th Degree, which interestingly is a Piscean degree. This degree has esoteric connections to illusions, water, things been unclear or misplaced — take with that what you will. The Saturn in Pisces experience is quite paradoxical. Bringing fantasy and magic into reality and everyday existence can look like for some, a deeper commitment to meditation and mindfulness. For others, religious extremism.
Saturn remains in Pisces until 2027, and will have future Retrogrades before its transit comes to a close. However, these degrees will not be touched upon then, emphasizing the value of being present here and now. Saturn cycles operate on a timetable of about 29 or so years. For those who can reflect and remember, consider where you were spiritually and physically about 30 years ago. There’s a sophisticated re-approach to many of the same themes that your life could have been experiencing then, now.

MERCURY IN RETROGRADE NOV. 25-DEC. 15
On Nov. 25, Mercury Stations Retrograde at 22°, meaning whatever was read or said throughout the month will be due for a second look. This Retrograde continues until Dec. 15, and by that point Mercury will have returned to the earlier degrees of Sagittarius. Don’t let the memes and internet persuade you to think Mercury Retrogrades are bad. Disruptive, frustrating? Sure. But these are periods to be used with purpose. Refine, refresh, refinish, and recalibrate as needed. Since we’re talking Sagittarius here, travel and adventure could be relevant. As this Retrograde aligns quite specifically with the holiday season, be mindful that you’re leaving on time for a flight, your tank is full before hitting the highway, and make sure your to-do lists are well attended. It’s not usually recommended to form bonds and solidify commitments (such as contracts) under this sort of transit. But, if you must, do make sure you’re not blazing through responsibilities and take a second look. If you’re in the midst of a significant project, this is a great time for editing or revision.
Improved cognitive function through cannabis is possible — and won’t steer you wrong amidst these stressful situations. Klutch’s Purp 43 flower has a heavy dose of Terpinolene which is known for cerebral stimulation, but also reduces anxiety.

PLUTO RETURNS TO AQUARIUS
Finally, we have made it to the era of Pluto in Aquarius. Yes, the planet of destruction, power, transformation and change stepped into the realm of Fixed Air previously, but now, it will remain here until 2043. There is much to be said about this revolutionary time we will enter into beginning Nov. 19. I’m not sure it would be terribly helpful to get too predictive just yet, as we have nearly 20 years to explore this period.
What is especially valuable is to understand how this ingression plays upon your natal chart, or another chart you may be studying. Anyone with planets and placements at very early degrees (0-3°) of Fixed Signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio), Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) or Air Signs (Aquarius, Gemini, Libra) will begin to feel the impact of this transit, if they haven’t already.
Regardless if the aspect created is beneficial or difficult, Pluto is not a “chill” planet to play with — just ask your Capricorn friends who finally get some relief after Pluto has loomed over their placements since 2008. This is only the second time in the United State’s history that Pluto has transited Aquarius and the first time it’s happened since we discovered the planet. And yes, Modern Astrology still credits Pluto as a planet.
Get into a futuristic vibe by exploring new medicinal modalities. UB Good has a selection of tinctures, but one thing that would be worth experimenting with is the Go Spritz which offers 2mg of THC per spray. Lighthouse Sciences’ Quiet Mind Topical Spray has a 1:1 CBD:THC ratio promotes peace without needing to ingest, vape or smoke.
