
On February 16, a coordinated effort between Midwest Cannawomen, Noohra Labs, Time Well Spent, and other leaders in Ohio cannabis will take place across four cities.
On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, a coordinated effort between Midwest Cannawomen and Noohra Labs with their collaborating partners to host the Ohio All-Star Statewide Career Fair/Expungement Clinic that will take place across four cities: Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati. This event will be followed by the second Board of Pharmacy and Department of Commerce-approved event hosted by Midwest CannaWomen & Noohra Labs.
The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. in select cities. Wrap-around services, swag bags, and free food will be provided at all locations!
Attendees will learn valuable education and information about expungement in their counties and will be able to meet with legal experts to discuss record expungement for all cases; including non-violent criminal cannabis charges. Cannabis education, connect with canna-businesses looking to hire, network with industry experts will be a part of this event.
According to Ohio Criminal Justice Statistics published by the Office of Criminal Justice Services, cannabis is the most commonly used substance among arrested Ohioans. In 9 out of 10 reported sites, 40 percent or more of arrestees had cannabis in their system during booking. Additionally, cannabis (plants and processed) is the most frequently seized scheduled drug.
For those looking to get involved in the career fair, bring a copy of your resume. Guests who want to explore their legal options will need to have a complete understanding of their charges and must bring ID. Records are not required but encouraged. Be prepared to speak to legal representatives.

Pre-Game/Fundraiser – February 18th
The second part of the Ohio All-Star Cannabis Experience is The Pre-Game/Fundraiser.
It will take place on Friday, February 18 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sauced Taproom and Kitchen 14701 Detroit Avenue Lakewood, Ohio 44107. Tickets are $20 and available on the official Eventbrite page: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-pre-gamefundraiser-tickets-246959200617
Attendees can network with Midwest Cannabis industry professionals and like-minded individuals to come together for a great cause. All fundraiser ticket sales and raffles proceeds and donations will be donated directly to both non-profits. This is a taxable donation 501 (c)(3) charity.
This fundraiser will support two local non-profits:
Life is Good No Matter What, which brings experience and good deeds to those affected by cancer as well as Laura’s Home Crisis Center, a transitional home for women and children that provides much-needed housing services.
