MedicateOH announces a fundraiser and education event, “Soothing Saturday”, February 26, 2022, at the Cleveland School of Cannabis HUB in Columbus Ohio. This holistic health seminar will give interested Ohioans a chance to learn more about the mind and body benefits of natural medicines.

MedicateOH works to bridge the gap in knowledge between patients, doctors, and businesses through journalistic articles, educational events, and accessible content. The staff designed Soothing Saturday to provide a space for medical patients interested in exploring their health and wellness opportunities. Participants will be able to gain valuable knowledge about therapies such as medicinal cannabis, massage, meditation, reiki, and yoga.

Two classrooms will be set up to host demonstrations and presentations from our vendors and sponsors. Participants will receive informational swag bags and can sign up for reiki and massage therapy demonstrations. Participants can also enter to win one of our Soothing Saturday raffle baskets. Our grand prize is valued at over $250, including a $100 Amazon gift card. 

Sponsors of the event include:

  • Spendr, Ohio’s first reward system that allows cannabis patients to make mobile payments and earn rewards on their purchases. 
  • MyMedicine LLC, home of Ohio’s most-affordable medical card renewals will both sponsor and speak at the event. 
  • Klutch Cannabis & Kiva Confections, an Akron, Ohio-based cannabis company

Soothing Saturday will feature more than a half dozen Ohio medical cannabis cultivators and processors including Klutch Cannabis, Kiva Confections, Ancient Roots Ohio, Buckeye Relief, GreenThumb Industries, Beneleaves, and Certified Cultivators. Attendees will be able to network with and ask important questions to the makers of these medicines, who will be providing education only in compliance with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. No cannabis products will be able to be purchased at the event. 

In addition to cannabis education, participants will have the chance to explore a variety of natural health and alternative medicine products and services. Vendors will include WomenCann, Reiki with Andrea Wesley, The Green Room Fumoir, Green Sensation CBD, Massage Therapy with Victoria Brittingham, and many others. 

The event will run from 1 p.m.- 5 p.m. at the Cleveland School of Cannabis’s Cannabis HUB location at 3700 Corporate Dr. Suite 125, Columbus, OH 43231. Attendees must be 21+ to enter.

This event is free to attend, with a donation of $5 suggested. Proceeds support MedicateOH, which operates as a fiscally sponsored community impact project of Community Shares of Mid-Ohio.
