In collaboration with Bonnie Rabin, University of Cincinnati faculty teaching Introduction to Hemp and Medical Cannabis this fall, these sessions will connect industry professionals, advocates, and students to discuss and illuminate cannabis news topics.

Continuing our collaborative series with Bonnie Rabin, University of Cincinnati faculty teaching Introduction to Hemp and Medical Cannabis this fall, MedicateOH will invite legal and medical experts to participate in this discussion to better understand cannabis as medicine.

We will be raising money toward MedicateOH. MedicateOH is a fiscally-sponsored community impact project of In(form)ed/Community Shares of Mid-Ohio, a non-profit organization. MedicateOH’s mission is to bridge the gap in education for Ohioans who seek to make thoughtful medical decisions involving their holistic health.

The Green Room Fumoir will be showcasing items available in store and online featuring local vendors and artisan products. Come have a specialty cocktail and shop local artists while learning about whole plant wellness and alternative holistic treatments.

Midwest CannaWomen is a Black women owned, small business based in Ohio. MCW was created in 2017 and founded by Ally Reaves, with the focus of impacting Minority communities, Women, Patients and developing BOP approved cannabis events.

Ahead of MedicateOH’s fundraiser that celebrates reflections of cannabis in health, arts and music, participants will have an opportunity to share how the plant has inspired their craft.

Hemp’s role in our economy both as medicine and a commodity. MedicateOH invites members of the Ohio hemp community to comment on their successes and challenges in producing the crop.

“Cannabis Cultivation”

MedicateOH will share the legal complications that lawmakers and advocates have faced in attempting to legislate wider access for Ohioans to grow their own cannabis medicine.
