Klutch Cannabis officially opened the doors to its newest dispensary at 1305 Holly Ave. on September 11, marking the Akron-founded company’s second retail location in the Columbus market. Taking over the former Culture Cannabis storefront just outside of Grandview, the updated space broadens retail access for both medical patients and adult-use recreational consumers across Central Ohio.
Klutch’s Expansion
The expansion follows strong demand at Klutch’s initial Columbus location on Bethel Road, which opened in June after the acquisition of a license held by Farkas Farms. For Klutch Founder and CEO Adam Thomarios, the move represents a continued commitment to investing in one of the state’s fastest-growing cannabis communities.

From Homegrown Roots to Statewide Operator
The Grandview launch highlights Klutch’s evolution from an early corporate partnership into a fully 100% Ohio-owned and operated business. Originally established as AT-CPC of Ohio, LLC under the multistate organization Calyx Peak, the business formally separated from Calyx in July 2020. Thomarios rebranded the venture as Klutch Cannabis, anchoring its operations in Akron with a patient-focused mission.
Since then, the company has scaled its supply chain from its 82,000-square-foot Akron headquarters, which houses 30,000 square feet of indoor cultivation alongside extraction laboratories and a commercial kitchen. By securing exclusive brand partnerships with sought-after genetics like Josh D, alongside national names like Kiva Confections and Cookies, Klutch built an established footprint in the wholesale market before expanding directly into retail.
Klutch’s retail journey began with flagship storefront “The Citizen” in Lorain—home to Ohio’s first medical cannabis drive-thru. The dispensary brand has grown to include additional retail stores in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Northfield, Tallmadge, and Wellington.
