As the Ohio cannabis market continues to expand, the team at Ohio Cannabis Company (OCC) proudly opened its newest location at 2780 Tuller Parkway on June 8th, bringing a commitment to patient-centric service to a prime spot in Dublin, just north of the OSU airport and south of Route 161.

The new dispensary notably sits next to Target, housed in a creatively renovated former car wash. The Dublin store marks the fifth Ohio dispensary for Ohio Cannabis Company, with another storefront in Canal Winchester on the horizon for later this year. After establishing stores in rural areas, OCC opened their first of three Columbus locations in February.

A Culture of Growth from Within

For co-owners Brian Wingfield and Zach Bradford, the key to maintaining excellence during this period of rapid expansion is simple: people.

“As long as we’re willing to change, we’re always willing to do better,” Wingfield noted. To ensure that “better” becomes the standard, OCC has focused on promoting staff from within to lead operations at the new Dublin site. By placing experienced, knowledgeable team members in these new roles, the company ensures a seamless transition for patients.

“Having great staff makes this job that much easier,” Wingfield added. This strategy has resulted in a remarkably low turnover rate, with general managers at every location having started their careers as budtenders.

Drive Thru Cannabis

When asked about their service philosophy, the distinction between OCC and other operators is clear. Bradford notes that while some industry competitors focus on high-volume processing and speed, OCC prioritizes the human element.

“Customer service is by far the #1 priority,” Bradford explained. “We really take the time to talk through all patients’ and consumers’ questions fully to give them a high-quality experience.”

A major part of that experience at the new Dublin location is convenience. The facility features ample parking and accessibility, and importantly, a drive-thru designed to support those who need it most. Patients who are immunocompromised, parents with children, the elderly, and those who simply value anonymity should find the drive thru convenient. Bradford said his goal is to make their drive-thru service the “Chick-fil-A” of the cannabis industry: fast, friendly, and accurate.

Stocking the Best of the Buckeye State

While they’ll also carry well-known brands available in other states like Wyld and Dialed In, OCC is doubling down on its support for the local supply chain. The new store will feature a curated selection of Ohio-grown cultivators and processors, including:

  • Certified (a brand Wingfield praises for actively incorporating patient feedback into product development)
  • King City Gardens
  • Eden’s Trees
  • Firelands Scientific
  • Farkas Farms
  • Ancient Roots
  • Hundred Percent Labs (Aura)

The dispensary will also be among the first to stock flower from Northwoods Cannabis, a new cultivator whose first harvest is currently hitting the market. Wingfield noted that while supply chain hurdles—specifically the scarcity of 14g (half-ounce) options—have been a challenge for the industry, the arrival of new operators like Northwoods is expected to stabilize variety and availability for patients.

Opening Specials

To celebrate their arrival in the community, the new Dublin location is offering significant savings during its first two weeks:

  • 40% off all processed products
  • 30% off all flower

Ongoing Patient & Veteran Support:

  • Veterans & Indigent Patients: 25% off every day.
  • Non-Medical Veterans: 15% off every day.
  • Medical Patients: 20% off every Monday and Tuesday.

With their second Franklin County store now open, the team at Ohio Cannabis Company is ready to serve the Dublin community with the same seasoned, expert staff that has made their other locations a staple of the Ohio market.
