Mary’s back this Spring with a few new cannabis beauty products she’s tried. Cannabinoids have gained the attention of dermatologists for their potential to ease itching and inflammation. Whether you’re treating a condition like dermatitis, psoriasis, or rosacea, or just looking for a healthier glow, Mary lists some cannabis beauty products to consider.

High Beauty – high eye-Q EYE GEL

High eye-Q EYE GEL

This eye gel was designed to cool and moisturize your entire eye, from the top to the bottom! It is infused with hyaluronic acid, Vitamin C, green tea, and something called Biocanna.

What is Biocanna? “Formulated with hempseed oil, bioflavonoids and pure essential plant oils, high® delivers the high-powered benefits of hemp, to protect with potent antioxidants, balance with adaptogens, soothe, hydrate and replenish” (High eye-Q EYE GEL, 2023).

First Impression: It is very cooling and refreshing. Helps with lower lid puffiness. A little pump goes a long way, only needing one per eye. It does contribute a bit of moisture and layers well with other face products. It brightens my under eye and makes me look more alert.

Final Thoughts: This eye gel is a must have! Not only does it cool and moisturize, but there is a visible difference in the quality of my skin. The bottle lasted about a year for me, which makes the price a steal!

Tea Tree – Restorative Hemp Shampoo and Conditioner

Tea Tree – Restorative Hemp Shampoo and Conditioner

This dynamic duo can be used from your head to your toes, literally. The shampoo is designed to work as both a shampoo and a body wash. The conditioner is also designed to work as a body lotion. With these two bottles, you have everything you need to take a shower.

First Impression: Paired with a steamy shower, it is an incredible aromatherapy experience. Smells great and removes buildup and residue from the scalp very well. Hair is soft and free of tangles.

Final Thoughts: This product is a great tool for anyone struggling with buildup on their scalp but does not want to use heavy products. I do not recommend using it as a lotion or body wash, since there are better products for those purposes. It provides some moisture but may leave some hair too dry. This is a great basic set of shampoo and conditioner.

Pacifica Beauty – COSMIC REFLECT Hemp Infused Eye Shadows

Pacifica Beauty – COSMIC REFLECT Hemp Infused Eye Shadows

This talc-free formula offers matte, reflective and shimmer options in earthy and galaxy tones. It comes with a vegan brush for application and the makeup is infused with hemp oil. The non-comedogenic formula is designed to leave your eyelids feeling light and moisturized.

First Impression: A good selection of colors for everyday use, while also providing a few colors to add some pop to your look. These shadows provide everything you need from day to night.

Final Thoughts: Although these colors are not as pigmented as others on the market, this pallet gives me peace of mind knowing it is a talc-free formula. There is little fallout and the color is buildable. It has replaced most of my eyeshadow pallets in my collection.

E.l.f. – HAPPY HYDRATION CREAM

E.l.f. – HAPPY HYDRATION CREAM

If you are looking for a silky, rich formula with great results and a small price tag, look no further. E.l.f.’s Happy Hydration cream has all the things your face craves: Hemp seed oil, Vitamin B5, Hyaluronic Acid, and Niacinamide.

First Impression: The ingredients compete with leading $50 face creams for a fraction of the price. It is unscented and a little goes a long way. It immediately soaks into the skin and does not leave you feeling sticky.

Final Thoughts: Move over expensive creams! This is my new go-to face product! Not only does it provide moisture, but it locks it in for 24 hours without breaking you out. See the difference in your skin after a few uses!

Lazarus Naturals – Unscented Full Spectrum CBD Lotion

Lazarus Naturals – Unscented Full Spectrum CBD Lotion

Lazarus Naturals is a CBD company that has created their own CBD-infused lotion. Each 2.5 fl oz of lotion holds 1,500mg of CBD – more than you can find in almost any other hemp lotion!

First Impression: Great lotion for anyone who has very sensitive skin. The 2.5oz bottle is the perfect size for home or a medium-to-large purse. It is easily absorbed into the skin.

Final Thoughts: I come back to this lotion again and again. This lotion has been able to heal the most stubborn dry, cracked skin I have. From your heels to your face, this lotion works wonders! And because it has a large dose of CBD inside, there is some pain relief as well.
